A Reformed Church planting and renewal partnership for NYC. It's called KEZ
The Reformed Church in America (RCA) is America's oldest Protestant denomination. They've been active in "New Amsterdam" since 1628. Dozens of churches pepper the five boroughs, reaching young professionals and emerging immigrants. In 2014, they teamed up with the Christian Reformed Church (CRCNA) to expand their ministry.
We are joining together to start a Kingdom Enterprise Zone (KEZ). Having been active in ten other metro areas across North America, we are thrilled to bring a KEZ to the largest and most influential city in North America. Ten vibrant leaders from across the metro region have been meeting together to pray and dream. "Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, in New York as it is in heaven."
If you share a desire to see God's kingdom come in New York City through church planting or church renewal, we invite you join our network. We hold network gatherings quarterly. They include a time of learning, collaboration and sharing. All are welcome. A free lunch is usually served as well. Check here for our upcoming meeting schedule. RSVPs are appreciated.
Part of KEZ's mission is to provide grants for new church plants. If you are interested in joining the network and are thinking about or in the process of planting a church, please contact us and we will send you application materials.
Our values are:
Thank you for supporting this ministry. Your financial gifts help us reach more New Yorkers with the gospel. The NYC KEZ is all about empowering, equipping, engaging and expanding. We begin this new initiative asking our churches and friends for two things: your prayers and your financial partnership.
Yours in Christ,
Rev. Benjamin Spalink, Co-Leader (CRC)
Rev. Doyle Degraw, Co-Leader (RCA)
